Sunday morning and I am up before anyone in the house. I am typically a first riser all week so even on the weekend it is peaceful. I decided to make blueberry muffins as a treat for my darling Molli Jo and thinking perhaps they can bring enjoyment to my favorite old man. He has his now, fresh from the oven with his coffee. We are the only ones up now. He still has no taste although I assure you that it tastes bread-like with a hint of sweetness as a muffin should. He plans to follow this up with some Rice Crispies soaked in milk.
It is hard to believe that tomorrow begins week 4 of radiation. I will think of it as all downhill from here in a good way.
