Oatmeal with a touch of class...

We have tried oatmeal before.  I thought that it would be an easy winner.  Unfortunately I have figured out that I was making oatmeal as I enjoy it and that was not well received.  It was deemed "too sweet" and "too thick".  MMMMM...sounds perfect to me.
 
Today I made oatmeal again, but much more soupy like.  I added some freshly peeled nectarine cut into tiny pieces and milk.  This time it was well received!  When asked if he would eat it again this way, he said, "O yea."
 
Good enough for me.  Happy Labor Day!
